Water & Wetlands

Resource protection is a main priority for the UK and much of the forthcoming environmental funding will be directly or indirectly associated with protecting our watercourses (European Water Framework Directive 2000).

We have experience in identifying issues, suggestions solutions and locating potential funding for relevant works; these works can range from improving farmyard water management and erecting sheds to constructing infield wetlands to filter run-off.

Funding is available for various projects through the Countryside Stewardship Scheme as well as, depending on your location, local River Trusts or Farming in Protected Landscapes.
